The Government has launched a new edition of the Bono Cultural Joven 2026, a direct aid of 400 euros aimed at young people turning 18, which this year incorporates more spending options and a priority objective: to increase the participation of groups with less access to culture.
The program, promoted by the Ministry of Culture and presented by the minister Ernest Urtasun, seeks to expand its reach in vulnerable environments, where currently only 30% of potential beneficiaries apply for the aid.
What is the Bono Cultural Joven 2026
The Bono Cultural Joven is a public aid of 400 euros granted to those who turn 18 and can be used for cultural products, services, and activities.
In this new edition, the program maintains its structure but introduces a relevant novelty: the possibility of allocating the money to cultural training, musical instruments, and artistic materials, in addition to the purchase of books, music, cinema, or shows.

The system has 3,952 adhering entities, including bookstores, cinemas, cultural platforms, and training centers.
In previous editions, companies such as MediaMarkt, Discocil, and Weezevent have been sanctioned, in addition to the expulsion of the nightclub Jowke for non-compliance with the program's rules.
