The first vice-president and Minister of Culture and Linguistic Policy, Ibone Bengoetxea, has stated that PNV and PSE form a "compact government" and that they maintain "a great relationship," even when "they do not share all projects 100%."

Questioned in the Basque Parliament about the link between PNV and PSE, after the approval of the new Public Employment Law with the support of PNV, the abstention of EH Bildu, and the vote against by PSE-EE, Bengoetxea has stressed that the relationship with the partner "is not affected" and has emphasized that it is "a compact government."

In this regard, she recalled that both parties presented "jointly" two days ago the balance of the two years of the legislature, as well as the pending path for the coming months. "I would say that the relationship with the government partner is great and that, furthermore, in a democracy, I think it is normal not to share all projects 100%," she pointed out.

Bengoetxea has insisted on the "great relationship" between the members of the Executive and has concluded that "the Government is not at risk." "The country is moving forward and we are focused on what we need to be," the vice-president has reiterated.
