Hospitals in the Community of Madrid continue to care for 17 injured people in the Urda (Toledo) rail accident, one of whom remains in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the Hospital Ramón y Cajal, according to the latest figures released by the Ministry of Health.

The other 16 injured people continue to be hospitalized on the wards in various centers in the region. Specifically, three patients are admitted to Hospital 12 de Octubre, another three to the Fundación Jiménez Díaz and three more at Ramón y Cajal itself.

Likewise, the Hospital Gregorio Marañón is treating two injured people, the same number as the Hospital de La Princesa, while the Hospital Clínico, the Hospital de Torrejón and the Hospital Puerta de Hierro each have one patient admitted.

The Urda rail incident, in the province of Toledo, took place when a high-speed train of Renfe collided with another Iryo train that remained stopped on the track.
