The number of injured people admitted for the railway accident that occurred in Urda on October 28 has been reduced to 11 patients in four hospitals in Castilla-La Mancha, after three discharges were recorded at the Hospital of Toledo and the transfer of one injured person from Ciudad Real to a healthcare center in Madrid.

Of those 11 injured people who continue to be hospitalized in the region, only two remain in the intensive care unit (ICU), while the other nine are being treated on a regular ward.

To date, 99 of the 110 injured people who initially arrived to be hospitalized in six hospitals of the Servicio de Salud de Castilla-La Mancha (Sescam) have been discharged.

At the Hospital General Universitario de Toledo, six patients remain admitted, with two of them in the ICU and four on a conventional bed.

Another of the injured people continues to be admitted to the Mancha Centro hospital in Alcázar de San Juan, on a conventional ward, while the Hospital General Universitario de Ciudad Real is now treating three injured people, all on conventional beds, after the transfer of a fourth patient to a hospital in Madrid.

Lastly, at the Complejo Hospitalario Universitario de Albacete, a single patient remains admitted, also on a conventional bed.
