The candidate of the center-left party Ahora Nación, Hitler Mussolini Simeón Flores, has been elected mayor of Queropalca, in the Peruvian province of Lauricocha, belonging to the region of Hánuco, according to the official data released by the electoral authorities after the elections held on October 4.

Simeón obtained 229 ballots, equivalent to 34.54% of the count, and managed to win by a margin of 25 votes over Gaspar Benilde Osorio Zambrano, candidate of Renovación Popular, who received 204 supports (30.76%).

In third place was Itala Yovana Santillán Vara, from the Partido País para Todos, with 187 votes (28.205%), according to the records published by the National Office of Electoral Processes (ONPE). In the district of Queropalca, a total of 707 votes were registered: 663 valid, 30 blank, and 14 null.

The full name of the elected mayor incorporates those of the dictators of the 1930s Adolf Hitler and Benito Mussolini. Born in Queropalca in 1981, Simeón is now running for Ahora Nación, although in previous processes he presented himself for the government party Fuerza Popular, far-right, the last time in 2025.
