Donald Trump Jr has shown his support for the long message spread on social media by the Vice President of the United States, JD Vance, in which he links the Republican debacle in the midterm elections with the war in Iran, thus distancing himself from the explanations offered by the President of the United States, Donald Trump.

With a terse "each word of this is one hundred, one hundred, one hundred," the eldest son of the former president has reacted to Vance's reflection on what happened in this historic election day, in which the Republicans have lost control of Congress and have suffered defeats even in traditionally secure strongholds such as Texas or Arkansas.

"The reason we lost is the war," the Vice President of the United States stated, casting doubt that taking on the cost of this electoral setback had made up for it, as some have argued.

Vance pointed out that Trump also acknowledged that the war in Iran might have cost them; however, the President of the United States has insisted on attributing the failure to a supposed witch hunt driven by the most moderate Republican sectors and has defended that, had he been on the ballots, the Republicans would have achieved victory.
