The Ukrainian prime minister, Serhi Koretski, reported this Friday that the Russian Armed Forces carried out during the last night a new series of attacks, focused above all on the country's energy infrastructure and spread across seven provinces, including that of Kiev, where a fatal victim has been confirmed in recent hours.

"The enemy's main target is energy. Russia attacked installations of the electrical system in the Kiev region and in the Dnieper", as well as in Poltava. "There is damage and specialists are already working on the ground to restore the electrical supply as soon as possible", Koretski reported on social networks.

The head of the Ukrainian Government explained that the Russian Army has carried out "another massive attack with missiles and drones" that also reached "railway installations", without clarifying whether it is related to the drone that the day before struck a train station in Dnipro and caused the death of about fifteen people.

"Unfortunately, one person died in the capital. Another four people were injured in Kiev, Donetsk, Kharkiv and Volyn", the prime minister conveyed, who also cited bombings in the regions of Chernihiv and Dnipropetrovsk.

For its part, the authorities of the province of Kiev have specified that the projectiles reached the districts of Darnytskyi and Dnipro. In the latter, the only fatal victim confirmed so far has occurred.

"A one-story building was partially destroyed, and a fire broke out. Unfortunately, during the search, rescuers found the body of the deceased person", the regional Government detailed.
