The Mossos d'Esquadra have arrested a new minor for his alleged involvement in the dissemination channels of "Blocus" and for his active participation in the call from October 24 in Barcelona, a day on which 133 people were detained.
As the Catalan police have detailed this Friday in a statement, the arrest was carried out in the comarca of Vallès Occidental (Barcelona), after investigations in which a TikTok profile and several instant messaging groups were identified, used to launch the call and coordinate its development.
The investigators argue that the minor would have had a relevant role in these channels, helping to boost mobilization and distribute content linked to it.
In addition, the Mossos found that the profile analyzed not only took part in the call of the 24th, but later also promoted and urged people to join new mobilizations in Barcelona, specifically that of October 31, in which no disturbances or major arrests were recorded.
The proceedings have been sent to the Barcelona Juvenile Prosecutor's Office and the case remains open, without ruling out that more arrests may take place.
With this new operation, the number of arrests carried out for their link to "Blocus" rises to 10.
