The President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, has attacked the agreement reached between PP and Vox in the Senate, stating that both formations act as one and share "the same political project of regression" by running with "joint lists" in the general elections on November 29.

"They say the same thing. They vote the same thing. They govern together. And now they present joint lists to the Senate. PP and Vox. The same political project of regression," Sánchez has denounced in a message published on the social network 'X'.

In that publication, after citing the neuroscientist Patrick Mineault and his theory about blue and green, the head of the Executive has included a video in which he refers to those who "have been trying for years" to convince that both colors are very different, "that blue is one thing and that green is another."

In the recording, Sánchez insists that "it is enough to listen to them when they talk about pensions (...) or when they talk about women's rights or the Welfare State," while interventions from leaders of PP and Vox succeed each other, which the video alternates to emphasize their similarities.

The leader of the PSOE reproaches that, during this time, PP and Vox have tried to make people believe "that they represented very different projects." "Both the words and their actions make it very clear. They say the same thing, vote the same thing, and govern together. And now, they even present joint lists to the Senate," Sánchez concluded, linking this message to the one he has been conveying in his rallies.

In that same line, he has again appealed to the electorate to decide whether they want Spain to "move forward" or for it to be "the past," contrasting his project with that of the right.

The agreement that Sánchez criticizes was sealed between the parties led by Alberto Núñez Feijóo and Santiago Abascal. Under this pact, Vox renounces to present its own lists to the Senate in six provinces, while the PP does the same in three constituencies, with the aim of optimizing their options in the Upper House, after PSOE and Frente Amplio have decided to run in coalition in that same institution.
