The President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, has confirmed that the Council of Ministers will give the green light this Tuesday to a decree of aid intended for the victims of the railway accident in Urda (Toledo), following the same line of action that was adopted after the Adamuz disaster (Córdoba).
During his intervention this Monday in Barcelona, at the World in Progress (WIP) forum of Prisa, Sánchez has reiterated his condolences to the relatives and close ones of the victims who died and has assured that the Executive will be by their side, accompanying them in the grieving process, in the administrative procedures and in the search for answers "to what should never have happened". The head of the Executive has detailed that the decree will contemplate direct economic aid, a specific mechanism to advance compensation, the activation of specific temporary disability processes for those affected and the creation of comprehensive and personalized care offices in the Government delegations and subdelegations in the autonomous communities involved.
