The mayor of Badalona (Barcelona), Xavier Garcia Albiol, and the general director of Caprabo, Edorta Juaristi, have signed a framework collaboration agreement with the aim of promoting economic development and job creation in the city, as reported by Caprabo in a statement released this Friday.
Within the framework of this agreement, the opening of two new Caprabo supermarkets in Badalona is planned for 2026, which will allow for the incorporation of 60 workers, as well as an investment of five million euros destined for the launch of three additional establishments.
García Albiol has emphasized that "the opening of these new Caprabo supermarkets will mean the creation of new jobs for residents of Badalona."
Likewise, he has expressed his satisfaction for "having responded to the company's employment needs" in the city and for the arrival of new investments in the municipality.
For his part, Juaristi has highlighted that "the development and growth of the city, the new areas, and the collaboration of the City Council's teams have been key" for the chain to reinforce its expansion plan in Badalona.
