The minors section of the Court of First Instance of Lleida ordered on Tuesday the admission in closed regime of the minor detained in Balaguer for his alleged involvement in the violent death of a man, according to a statement made this Wednesday by the High Court of Justice of Catalonia (TSJC).
The events took place around 11 p.m. on Wednesday, August 26, when a traffic accident was recorded in the urban area and, inside the crashed vehicle, the corpse of a man was found.
The police investigations determined that the deceased showed signs compatible with a possible criminal assault prior to the accident, which is why the Criminal Investigation Division (DIC) of the Mossos d'Esquadra took charge of the proceedings.
