The Executive of Isabel Díaz Ayuso maintains that the clarifications offered regarding the acquisition of the attic in Chamberí by the Community of Madrid, through the public company Planifica Madrid, are "conclusive" and, therefore, understands that "there is no need to talk more about the subject."
This was expressed this Tuesday by the Minister of Economy, Finance, and Employment, Rocío Albert, before the media at the San Cristóbal School Market, after the PSOE has demanded full access to the file of said property.
"We have been giving explanations all month. I believe that the explanations are conclusive enough not to have to give additional explanations to everyone who makes an intervention," the minister reiterated, insisting that the regional Government has already provided all the necessary answers.
Albert also emphasized that this attic, along with other real estate, has been put on the market with the aim of "being able to face the horrible fires" that ravaged the Sierra Oeste last July. "Therefore, I don't think we need to talk more about this subject," she concluded, considering the matter closed.
The minister's words come after the spokesperson for the PSOE in the Assembly of Madrid, Mar Espinar, criticized the formula chosen by the regional Government to account for the operation. The socialist has denounced that the request for the appearance in the Plenary of Vallecas of the Minister of Presidency, Justice, and Local Administration, Miguel Ángel García Martín, to inform about the asset management of the public company that acquired and has put the attic in Chamberí up for sale, is "a gesture in vain."
"They are once again taking us all for idiots. Let him show the file because requesting an appearance at the request of the minister responsible for the purchase of the super attic to talk about the assets of the Planifica Madrid company is not going to clarify what is important. Giving explanations in the Plenary is a gesture in vain. What we all Madrid residents want is to see the documentation," Espinar pointed out in statements sent to the media, demanding total transparency regarding the operation.
