A storm will leave this Wednesday an episode of intense rain and storms in different points of Galicia.
The first warnings will begin at 09:00 hours for precipitation that can exceed 15 liters per square meter in one hour.
The warning for rain will remain until 15:00 hours.
Which areas are affected by the rain
MeteoGalicia places under yellow warning for precipitation:
- interior, west and southwest of A Coruña;
- south of Ourense;
- coast of Pontevedra.
The period of greatest attention for rain will be from 09:00 to 15:00 hours.
Storms between 12:00 and 18:00
The episode will change during the second half of the day.
The provinces of A Coruña and Pontevedra will have a yellow warning for storms from 12:00 to 18:00 hours, with the possibility of locally intense phenomena.
The storm will also cause a moderate decrease in temperatures.
The wind will blow from the south-southwest, with greater intensity on the Atlantic coast.
Two time slots to consider
The day is thus divided into two main periods:
09:00-15:00 hours: risk of intense rains in areas of A Coruña, Ourense and Pontevedra.
12:00-18:00 hours: risk of locally intense storms in A Coruña and Pontevedra.
Between 12:00 and 15:00, both types of warnings will coincide in part of the territory.
