According to sources from the 112 Emergency Service informed to Europa Press, the accident occurred at 6:48 AM at kilometer 170 of the aforementioned highway, in the direction of Madrid. The collision caused both trucks to catch fire, and firefighters are working on it.
These same sources indicate that the highway has had to be closed in the direction of Madrid. An alternative route is offered at kilometer 175, at the Cañada Juncosa exit, until rejoining the highway in Honrubia.
Civil Guard officers, firefighters from Motilla del Palancar, an Emergency ambulance, an Emergency doctor, an ICU and a basic life support ambulance are operating at the scene.
