The PSOE achieves a rebound in voting intention and is once again positioned around 110 seats, according to the latest SocioMétrica poll for El Español. The party of Pedro Sánchez reaches 27% of the vote and recovers 12 deputies compared to February.

The rebound coincides with the international scenario marked by the crisis in Iran, which has partially reordered the political chessboard and has allowed the PSOE to improve its expectations.

Feijóo resists and maintains victory with clarity

Despite the socialist recovery, the PP remains the leading force with 31.8% of the vote and around 140 seats.

Alberto Núñez Feijóo not only maintains his advantage, but also consolidates a position that would allow him to govern with a broad absolute majority alongside Vox and UPN, surpassing 200 deputies. The right-wing bloc thus maintains a structural advantage in Congress.

Vox loses momentum and cedes part of its growth

The most relevant change is in Vox. The party drops to 59 seats and 16.9% of the vote, losing strength compared to February estimates, when it was at higher levels. The setback slows the growth dynamic it had marked in previous months and reduces its capacity to continue expanding its electoral space.

The left weakens and loses blocking capacity

In the space to the left of the PSOE, the wear and tear continues. Sumar would fall to 10 seats, while Podemos would remain with a minimum representation of 2 deputies. The sum of the entire investiture bloc would be around 150 seats, far from the majority needed to govern.

Even in a reunification scenario between Sumar and Podemos, the bloc would still not be competitive against Vox.

Vote transfers: the PSOE grows at the expense of its partners

The analysis of vote flows shows that the PSOE's recovery is largely based on voters coming from Sumar and the space to its left. At the same time, a relevant group of undecided voters is detected, especially among former socialist voters, which keeps the scenario open for elections.

Sánchez improves his image amid international crisis

The survey also reflects a rebound in the approval rating of Pedro Sánchez, which reaches its best figure in months. The president improves his relative position compared to other leaders, although all continue to fail in average approval rating.

This increase in popularity coincides with its prominence on the international agenda, in a context marked by geopolitical tensions.

A clear scenario: advantage for the right and rebound for the PSOE

The photograph left by the poll is twofold. On one hand, the PSOE manages to recover part of the lost ground. On the other hand, the right-wing bloc maintains a clear and sufficient advantage to govern. The sum of PP, Vox, and UPN far exceeds the absolute majority, while the left remains fragmented and unable to articulate an alternative.
