Altia has completed the acquisition of 100% of the Spanish technology company Ednon for 9.85 million euros, a figure to which a maximum 'earn out' of 2.795 million linked to the degree of compliance with Ednon's business plan for the fiscal years 2026 and 2027 is added.
The operation involves the incorporation into Altia of a team of 140 professionals and a notable reinforcement of its technological services offering, with special emphasis on innovation, data governance, cybersecurity, infrastructure solutions, managed services, and systems and communications integration.
Regarding the acquired company, Altia emphasizes that Ednon has 22 years of activity and a "consolidated" presence in the national market.
Ednon has developed projects for both public administrations and private companies, with a "relevant position in healthcare, an area where projects related to digital medicine and genomics, retail, justice, and banking stand out." In the fiscal year 2025, the firm achieved a turnover of 18.2 million and an EBITDA of 1.8 million euros.
"In this 2026, the signing of the last contracts already guarantees the achievement of the objectives for the current fiscal year, figures that reflect the solidity of its numbers and the continuity of a project based on specialized knowledge in certain sectors, proximity to the client, and the ability to adapt to the needs of organizations with complex technological environments," Altia stated in a statement released this Wednesday.
CYBERSECURITY SERVICES AND SOFTWARE SOLUTIONS
With this integration, Altia expands its value proposition with capabilities "very aligned with the current needs of the market." This is complemented by its commitment to technological innovation, which in the case of Ednon is articulated through "Ednon Labs," its innovation factory, and the design of services and solutions that combine technical expertise, sector knowledge, and practical application in digital transformation projects.
The purchase also increases Altia's capacity to support its clients in initiatives that require solid infrastructures, data governance, business continuity, cybersecurity services, and software solutions tailored to each environment.
The acquisition is situated within one of the strategic growth lines of Altia, focused on integrating companies with complementary capabilities, teams with high technological qualification, and a corporate culture aligned with that of the group.
"Ednon brings a particularly relevant track record in public administrations and in private clients from technology-intensive sectors, as well as a portfolio of services that fits and enhances Altia's lines of specialization," the company explained, emphasizing that both organizations share a business vision based on "proximity, specialization, service quality, and the development of long-term relationships with clients, which facilitates the construction of a common project oriented towards joint growth."
The president of Altia, Constantino Fernández, highlighted that this operation "clearly reinforces Altia's ability to continue strengthening the service portfolio and complementing capabilities in areas of high technological demand."
"It is a company with a solid track record, a highly qualified team, and a corporate culture very close to ours," he added, emphasizing that both share a vision "based on specialization, customer orientation, and applied innovation."
