Civitatis has incorporated its catalog of tourist activities into ChatGPT (OpenAI) and Claude (Anthropic), so that users can discover proposals, resolve doubts, check availability, and prepare the shopping cart without leaving the conversation with the artificial intelligence.

In addition, the technology created by Civitatis has already been adapted to work with Gemini (Google), after successfully verifying its compatibility with this assistant. The launch of this connection is subject to Google extending its partner program to Europe, Latin America, and other territories.

The closing of the reservation is carried out later on the Civitatis website, where the traveler completes the checkout and makes the payment. The integration with ChatGPT is operational and, according to the company, is already driving both traffic and bookings.

"We want to be where our travelers start dreaming about their next trip, and that increasingly happens within a conversation with an AI," said Civitatis CEO, Andrés Spitzer, who believes that being able to go from asking what to do in a destination to finding an activity, checking its availability, and having it ready to book "brings inspiration and purchase much closer."

To make these connections possible, the company has developed a unique MCP (Model Context Protocol) server that links its catalog and services with different artificial intelligence assistants. Thanks to this infrastructure, it already operates with ChatGPT and Claude and prepares for future integration with other platforms.

Civitatis maintains that conversational assistants are gaining weight in the inspiration, planning, and purchasing decision of travelers, and reinforces its commitment to these channels, with a special focus on Spanish-speaking and Portuguese-speaking markets, considered strategic for the company.

According to data from Phocuswright cited by Civitatis, online bookings already account for more than half of the tourism market in Latin America, in an environment marked by the rapid transformation of purchasing habits of travelers in the region.
