Healthcare Activos has incorporated Albert Martínez Bigas as the new director of hospitals, with the mission of supporting the expansion of its healthcare infrastructure platform in Europe.
From this position, Martínez Bigas will be responsible for coordinating and strengthening relationships with hospital operators in the different European markets, as well as actively participating in the detection, analysis, and execution of new investment opportunities within the healthcare sector.
The executive joins Healthcare Activos from Quirónsalud, a company where he has developed his career for more than 12 years holding various positions of responsibility. In his most recent stage, he held the position of head of strategy and business development.
This move comes after the recent launch of the investment vehicle specialized in the hospital sector by Healthcare Activos, which has an initial investment target of 800 million euros in Europe and particularly focuses on Spain, the United Kingdom, Portugal, Italy, and Ireland.
