Fundación Telefónica has launched the first call for its technology awards, a proposal endowed with 150,000 euros that is born with the objective of recognizing trajectories and initiatives that promote young talent in Spain and that contribute to progress in a human, inclusive, and purposeful way.
Technology and talent constitute the pillars on which these awards are designed, distributed in six categories associated with the great vectors that are marking the present and future of digitalization.
The program not only distinguishes talent and technological development, but also underlines the capacity of projects to generate real impact, accelerate innovation, and offer solutions to current major challenges.
In this context, the economic amount amounts to 150,000 euros in total, with 25,000 euros allocated to each discipline.
"With this initiative, which is added to the Fundación Telefónica Scholarships project, we reinforce our commitment to society and to the development of talent, connecting it to a more competitive, ethical European industry capable of leading the future," indicated the president of Fundación Telefónica, Enrique Goñi.
The awards are divided into six modalities: digital art, Internet of Things (IoT), artificial intelligence (AI), robotics, humanities, and communication.
