The Ibex 35 has begun this Thursday's session practically without movements, with a slight advance of 0.03%, which allowed it to maintain the level of 19,400 points and reach 19,412.5 points. The start of the trading day was once again conditioned by the evolution of Brent, whose prices have fallen to approach 70 dollars.

After the first few minutes of trading, the Spanish selective index extended its gains to 0.2% and stood at 19,448 points.

Brent, the benchmark for Europe, was around 70.7 dollars at the start of trading on the continent's stock exchanges, after a 1.2% drop. For its part, West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude, the benchmark in the United States (US), was trading around 67.7 dollars after falling 1.3%.

The adjustment in crude oil prices, which reached 126.10 dollars for Brent on April 30, has intensified since the end of May, in parallel with the progress of talks between Washington and Tehran to try to end the conflict.

On the corporate front, the pan-European defense manufacturer KNDS has announced that it has opted to postpone its initial public offering (IPO) to debut on the Paris and Frankfurt stock exchanges "given the current market volatility in the European defense sector."

In Spain, the Ministry of Inclusion, Social Security and Migration has reported that Social Security exceeded the threshold of 22.4 million affiliates in June, adding an average of 128,533 contributors compared to the previous month (+0.6%). This increase was particularly favored by trade and hospitality, which incorporated more than 76,000 new employees for the summer campaign, in addition to the increase in foreign affiliation, which grew by 86,630 contributors after the regularization process.

Likewise, the Ministry of Labor and Social Economy has indicated that registered unemployment in the public employment services offices decreased by 28,739 people in June compared to May (-1.2%), driven mainly by the services sector, which accounted for a large part of the drop in unemployment with the arrival of the tourist season and the boost from hospitality.

At the start of the stock market session, among the best-performing stocks was Arcelormittal, which advanced 1% in the first minutes of trading, followed by Telefónica (+0.87%) and Bankinter (+0.85%).

On the downside, ACS lost 1.5%, Acciona fell 0.8%, and Indra dropped 0.6%.

The main European markets started the session with mixed performance: Frankfurt lost 0.2%, Paris gained 0.1%, and London fell by the same proportion, while Milan remained practically unchanged.

In the foreign exchange market, the euro appreciated against the dollar to stand at 1.1391 "greenbacks", while the yield on the Spanish ten-year bond rose to 3.392%.
