EH Bildu plans to address the Minister of the Interior, Fernando Grande-Marlaska, in the Upper House to clarify the 28 arrests made this Wednesday in Pamplona as part of the operation opened for the incidents of October 30, 2025, near the University of Navarra, due to an event by Vito Quiles that was ultimately suspended.

The abertzale party has stated that "once again we denounce the arrests and the disproportionate nature of the police action." As they have criticized, "arrests at homes, schools, massive police presence, and totally disproportionate accusations. The response to anti-fascist positions cannot be criminalized and judicially processed as the police are doing."

In this regard, EH Bildu has registered an interpellation addressed to Grande-Marlaska for him to appear in the Senate and account for these arrests and the police deployment carried out. The coalition emphasizes that "EH Bildu denounces the criminalization of anti-fascism and social protest and claims the right to mobilization," while demanding that "actions against the investigated persons cease."

Finally, the party conveys its "solidarity" to "all affected persons and their circles," insisting that the rights of the persons prosecuted within the framework of this police operation be respected.
