The commander of the Iranian Air Defense Force, Amir Alireza Elhami, stated this Wednesday that the latest confrontations with the United States and Israel have provided Tehran with "valuable experiences" in terms of "tactics" and "system production," emphasizing that the country is ready to apply these learnings in potential future wars.
"The Second Imposed War -referring to the offensive launched by Israel in 2025, to which the United States joined-- has given us good experience that we will use in the next war," declared Elhami, highlighting that Iran "used all its strength, with its experience and capabilities, to effectively confront the enemy air attack."
The commander also maintained that "everyone saw that this effectiveness was even more evident in the Third Imposed War --referring to the offensive of February 28-- when we struck a considerable number of enemy targets and aircraft," according to the Iranian public television network, IRIB.
In this context, he emphasized that these "valuable experiences" have proven "useful" in areas such as "tactics, system production, preparation, and deployment of the same." "We have made some changes," added Elhami, stressing that Tehran "depends 100% on Iranian capabilities."
The military official insisted that "we are producing new systems and equipment as a result of our experiences, something that is being done 100% with Iranian knowledge and experience," at a time marked by tensions arising from the lack of progress in indirect talks with the United States to try to end the conflict in the Middle East.
