"We are working quickly to clarify what happened and will provide more information as soon as possible," added the police official.

The East of England Ambulance Service has indicated for now that 89 injured have been counted, of whom eleven are in "very serious" condition and have been evacuated to different hospitals, while another 56 people have "minor" injuries.

To attend to the emergency, more than 20 ambulances, several specialized teams, and six medical helicopters have been mobilized, the emergency service detailed.
