At least one person has died and five others have been injured during the past night in a shooting recorded in northern Switzerland, in the town of Aarau, whose author remains at large for the moment, according to the Police communicated through their social networks.
According to the Aarau Police, some of the victims have serious injuries and the possible motives, as well as the precise circumstances of the attack, "are still unclear."
The incident occurred during a party held near a horse racing track, where the shots began around 03:00 in the morning (time in mainland Spain and the Balearic Islands).
The cantonal Police of Aargau has cordoned off the entire area, including the adjacent grounds to the track, among them a swimming pool and a sports field. The affected individuals who have not required hospitalization have spent the night in a nearby gym set up as a reception point.
