At least two Russian civilians have lost their lives following a drone attack attributed to Ukraine that impacted an oil depot located in the port city of Novorossiysk, in the Russian region of Krasnodar, in the southwest of the country. Local authorities indicated this Saturday that, in addition to the deceased, another person remains admitted to a medical center.

"The number of injured in the drone attack against Novorossiysk has increased to two. Another man, who was outside when the drone debris fell, has been hospitalized and is receiving all necessary assistance," clarified the Krasnodar Operational Headquarters in a communication disseminated through social networks.

In a previous note, the same body had reported that a man had been injured by falling drone debris, an incident that caused a fire in the fuel depot facilities.

"Several technical and administrative buildings caught fire. In addition, drone fragments fell on the grounds of the fuel terminal," added this first official information about what happened in the industrial area of Novorossiysk.
