The governor of the Russian region of Tula, Dimitri Miliaev, communicated this Wednesday that the province was attacked again during the past night by drones from the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which have once again struck a logistics center of the e-commerce giant Wildberries, known as the 'Russian Amazon'.

"A drone crashed into a logistics center of Wildberries, causing a fire," Miliaev detailed in a message on his social media, where he also reported material damage to several residential buildings in the Venevski district and in industrial complexes located in Novomoskovsk and Uzlovski.

The regional leader also specified that Russian defenses managed to shoot down or neutralize up to 107 Ukrainian drones in the area. At the same time, he emphasized that no fatalities have been recorded, beyond one person injured.

For its part, the company's press service issued a brief communication confirming that all personnel working at those facilities were evacuated without problems.

On the previous day, the Ukrainian Army had already directed part of its attacks against different centers that the company maintains spread across Russian territory, including an industrial area in the Moscow municipality of Chekhov, where five were killed and a dozen were injured, as well as other complexes in the Leningrad and Tver regions, in these cases without casualties.

In recent weeks, Ukraine has turned the infrastructures of this Russian giant of online commerce into one of its main targets, with around fifteen attacks in eleven regions of the country. With this sustained offensive, Kiev seeks not only to affect the Russian economy but also to undermine the morale of the population.

The Russian citizenry has already been facing supply problems at gas stations for weeks, as a consequence of Ukrainian bombings against refineries and other key oil facilities.
