The president of Vox, Santiago Abascal, has lashed out at the head of the Executive, Pedro Sánchez, whom he has described as "a dangerous psychopath" for, in his opinion, "betraying" and "abandoning" the people of Ceuta with the sole aim of "staying in power." In his view, "He is absolutely unleashed."
"Pedro Sánchez is a dangerous psychopath, I think he is absolutely unleashed, you only have to look at his interviews, you only have to look at the gestures in his interventions," Abascal stated this Wednesday before the media, before joining the concentration called in front of the City Hall of Madrid in support of Ceuta.
The leader of Vox has insisted that, from his point of view, Sánchez "will do anything to stay in power at any cost," emphasizing that in his party they have "no doubt" about what "he is capable of." In this line, he has stressed that "His permanence in power is a real threat, not only to the democratic system, to free elections, to the most basic rights of Spaniards, to national sovereignty now in the hands of foreign governments and to the territorial integrity of Spain."
In relation to the migratory crisis at the end of July in Ceuta, Abascal has accused the Executive of lying. He referred to the report from the National Center for Immigration and Borders (CENIF) of the National Police, which attributes to the Security Forces of Morocco "the active guiding of the mass towards the crossing points" during the entry of thousands of immigrants, and in which it is noted that there was "planning," both "prior" and "tactical."
"It is evident that the Government lies, many ministers knew it, they have said it in parliamentary sessions, police reports are being published that corroborate it and it seems that the Government accuses some of having done it but knows that Morocco has not done it. The Government has long been deceiving Spaniards absolutely about everything," he has censured.
