The Minister for Digital Transformation and Public Function, Óscar López, has harshly criticized the words of the president of the Community of Madrid, Isabel Díaz Ayuso, about the Global Progressive Mobilisation in Barcelona. "We all know that Ayuso is the geopolitical beacon of the West, and that she likes ultra summits like the ones she holds with Milei more," the minister has ironized.

López has expressed himself thus this Friday, in statements to the media upon arrival at the Global Progressive Mobilisation (GPM), which is being held at the Gran Via venue of Fira de Barcelona, in L'Hospitalet de Llobregat (Barcelona). His statements come after the Madrid president accused the President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, of meeting with "narco-states". "She meets with harassers like the mayor of Móstoles, whom she still protects," added the head of Digital Transformation.

The minister has branded Ayuso's statements directed at numerous Latin American countries as a "rude and xenophobic message" and has considered it striking that, immediately thereafter, she seeks to present herself as an ally of those same nations.

"Then she always wants to send that message of complicity, but I believe that messages like today's disqualify her. I certainly hope that all Latin Americans living in Madrid take note," López concluded, insisting that the words of the Madrid president deteriorate the relationship with the Latin American community residing in the capital.
