The PSOE spokesperson, Montse Mínguez, has questioned the "leaks" of the audios with the statement of former president José Luis Rodríguez Zapatero before Judge José Luis Calama at the National Court, and has denounced the existence of a "double standard" in the treatment of corruption cases affecting the left.

"We are not playing at the same level of cards and we are tired of leaks," reproached the socialist leader in statements to "La hora de La 1" (TVE), collected by Europa Press, emphasizing that "times with the left" are "much faster" when "judging or prejudging" than in proceedings affecting the right.

Mínguez has also criticized that invoices linked to payments to lawyer Jacobo Teijelo, hired by Santos Cerdán, have been "leaked," and that they are part of "a secret case -- the one investigating the "Leire Díez case" -- that is being made about the PSOE," a party that, she defended, "is transparent and collaborates with justice."

"As much documentation as is required of us will be provided, and we are seeing leaks," stressed the socialist spokesperson, recalling that the former Attorney General of the State, Álvaro García Ortiz, was convicted, in her opinion, "for leaking in the environment of Mrs. Ayuso" even though up to six journalists assured that it had not been him.

"That is what we socialists are seeing: there are leaks that are investigated, leaks that are not investigated, and we are not playing with the same cards or with the same rules of the game, and that double standard exists," she reiterated, before reaffirming her confidence in the rule of law.
