WAR IN IRAN
Statement of reasons. President Pedro Sánchez appears before Congress to report on the Spanish position in the Iran war and the measures adopted to face the economic consequences derived from the conflict. Also to detail the debates of the last European summit. Wednesday, 9:00 AM. Congress
What will be, will be. The Chamber will vote a day later on the validation of the measures, with the foreseeable support of Junts. The position of the PP remains to be seen. The Government has been especially cautious in excluding measures that could be rejected and cause a repeal of the plan, based fundamentally on tax cuts, as the opposition demanded. Thursday, 9:00 a.m. Congress.
The sit-in worked. After pressure from Sumar, the Government approved another decree-law with the extension of rental contracts and a 2% cap on increases. The measures will not be voted on Thursday, as the Government wants to exhaust the negotiation margin to seek support. PP and Vox will try to repeal it. The ball is in Junts' court.
Ideas, ideas. Junts and PNV defend before the Plenary their recipes, many of which have already been approved by the Government. The debates will serve to check positions on tax and industrial matters. Tuesday, 3:00 PM. Congress.
MULTIPLE REOFFENDING
Consummating the wink. The Plenary of Congress votes on the amendments introduced by the Senate to the bill on multi-offending promoted by Junts. The initiative, unblocked by the PSOE to please Junts and try to regain their favor, was toughened by PP and Vox in the Upper House, especially, on immigration issues. Thursday, 09:00 hours. Congress.
LAW OF IMPULSE TO THE SOCIAL ECONOMY
Goes to the BOE. The Law to boost the social economy is ready to come into force with its last votes in Congress. The Chamber examines the changes approved by the Senate, among them, a mandate to reform the tax regime of cooperatives and the creation of a social economy label to improve the visibility of these entities. Thursday, 9:00 hours. Congress.
INTERIOR/ SECURITY
Not so fast. The Plenary of Congress addresses a PSOE bill that aims to lower the speed limit, changing the threshold from 60 to 50 kilometers per hour (km/h) on urban roads and from 80 to 70 km/h on interurban roads. Tuesday, 3:00 p.m. Congress.
Recommendations. The Joint National Security Commission debates and votes on the rapporteur's report with technological, economic, social, institutional, and strategic recommendations to strengthen security against threats in cyberspace and in the era of AI and Quantum Computing. Tuesday, 10:00 hours. Congress.
SUCCESSION IN AIREF
A bullet. The government's candidate to chair AIReF, Inés Olóndriz, is examined before the Finance Committee in Congress. She needs an absolute majority. Otherwise, a simple majority in the Senate would suffice, but the PP controls the Upper House and has already anticipated its rejection. Wednesday. Time to be determined. Congress.
There is always a shortcut. One day before, the outgoing president, Cristina Herrero, goes to Parliament. She will do so before the Joint Commission (Congress-Senate) on National Security, since the PSOE blocked her appearance before the Treasury Commission, which the PP and Sumar requested. Tuesday, 10:00 a.m. Congress.

A report passed. The commission investigating the 28-A blackout receives the vice president for Ecological Transition, Sara Aagesen, and the president of Redeia, Beatriz Corredor. PENSIONS
Stoppage time. The president of the Economic and Social Council, Antón Costas, appears before the Toledo Pact Commission. Costas arrives at the Chamber with his mandate expired for almost a year and pending renewal. Tuesday, 12:00 hours. Congress.
In the breach. The Toledo Pact first receives two university professors, within the framework opened by the Commission to evaluate the impact of the gender gap on the public pension system. Monday, 16:00 hours. Congress.

INFRASTRUCTURES
In the spotlight. The president of Adif, Pedro Marco de la Peña, appears in Congress to report on the entity's actions in the Adamuz accident.
