Candidates arrive at Canal Sur amid protests over public services
The five candidates for the Presidency of the Junta de Andalucía have already arrived at the Canal Sur headquarters, on the Isla de la Cartuja in Seville, to participate in the second major electoral debate of the 17M campaign. The arrival took place in front of a protest rally called by the RTVA Inter-center Committee, in defense of the continuity of Canal Sur and of a quality public service.
The first to arrive has been José Ignacio García, candidate for Adelante Andalucía, who has attended in a suit and a t-shirt with the face of Federico García Lorca, in a gesture linked to historical memory, Andalusian culture and Granada. Afterwards, Antonio Maíllo, candidate for Por Andalucía, arrived, in a dark suit, white shirt, no tie and with a pink ribbon on his lapel.
Manuel Gavira, Vox candidate, has arrived in a suit and tie of "Spanish wine red" color, as he himself commented, and has assured that he is "going to win the debate". María Jesús Montero, PSOE-A candidate, stopped for a few minutes to greet those gathered before entering the headquarters and defended that in these elections "we are playing for public services".
Finally, Juanma Moreno, candidate of PP-A and president of the Junta, has arrived in a navy blue suit and tie and has expressed his wish that the debate proceed with serenity and without too many interruptions.
