During the first six months of 2026, the Seprona of the Command of the Civil Guard of Ciudad Real has carried out investigation proceedings on 22 people in the province as a whole.

In this period, 26 crimes with identified authors have been recorded, while the total number of investigated and detained stands at 22 people, according to the data released this Tuesday by the Civil Guard in a press release.

This difference highlights that some of those involved would be related to more than one criminal offense.

The offenses with the greatest weight have been crimes against wildlife (poaching or illegal hunting), which total 8 cases and represent 30.77% of the total recorded.

Next are two typologies with the same incidence: crimes for document forgery and crimes against animals (abandonment), with 4 cases each, which accounts for 15.40% respectively.

Crimes for forest fire and robbery also present identical figures, with 2 cases per modality, equivalent to 7.69% of the total.

Finally, 6 criminal types have been recorded with only one case each: crime against natural resources and the environment, crime of damage, crime of usurpation of civil status, crime of reckless driving, crime of resistance to an authority agent, and crime of driving a motor vehicle with the license revoked. Each of them individually represents 3.84% of the total.
