Carlos Parry Lafont
President of the Association of Institutional Relations Professionals (APRI). With an extensive career in the public affairs sector, he is currently responsible for AstraZeneca's office in Brussels, from where he leads the EU Affairs team. Previously, he was the director of the Foundation and of AstraZeneca's Government Affairs team in Spain. Also previously, he has worked at the employers' association EFPIA or at the pharmaceutical company Merck. Prior to joining the public affairs sector, he held various responsibilities in the public sector, notably his time as an advisor in the European Parliament or in the Ministry of Health.
