Individuals and companies will be able to benefit from incentives of up to 5,500 euros, with a key novelty: the discount will be applied directly at the dealership at the time of purchase.
What is the Auto Plan 2030
The Auto Plan 2030 is the new aid program promoted by the Government to encourage the purchase of more efficient vehicles and accelerate the renewal of the Spanish vehicle fleet.
Spain has one of the oldest vehicle fleets in Europe, so the plan's objective is to reduce emissions, improve road safety and support the automotive industry.
The program replaces the previous MOVES III Plan and notably simplifies the process to access aid.
How much money can be received
The maximum aid for passenger cars can reach 5,500 euros. The incentive is composed of two parts:
- Up to 4,500 euros in public aid
- At least 1,000 euros in mandatory dealer discount
- The final amount will depend on the type of vehicle and its energy efficiency characteristics.
What vehicles can be included
The program prioritizes vehicles with the CERO environmental sticker and, according to the information available, especially favors models produced in Europe. The main beneficiaries are electric cars and other high energy efficiency vehicles.
Aid for Motorcycles and Quadricycles
The Auto Plan 2030 also includes incentives for other vehicles:
- Electric motorcycles: up to 1,100 euros
- Electric quadricycles: up to 1,500 euros
Who can apply for the aid
The following may access the program:
- Individuals
- Self-employed
- Companies
In the case of citizens, the aid is intended for the purchase of a single vehicle, while companies may request it for several units.
The big novelty of the Auto Plan 2030
The main difference with respect to previous programs is that the aid will be deducted directly from the bill. This avoids months of waiting to collect the incentive and eliminates much of the uncertainty that existed with previous systems.
In practice, the buyer will see the vehicle's price reduced at the very moment of purchase.
Budget forecast for 2026
The program will have an allocation of 400 million euros for 2026. The objective is to boost demand and modernize the automotive fleet with cleaner and more efficient vehicles.
Since when can you apply
Purchases made from January 1, 2026, may be eligible for the program. Although the official management platform is being finalized, operations already carried out may benefit from the aid if they meet the established requirements.
