The Catalan singer Rosalía has postponed the three concerts she had scheduled for this week in the state of Florida due to a "family emergency," as reported by Live Nation, the promoter in charge of the international organization of her LUX world tour.

The decision affects the performances scheduled for June 4 and 6 in Miami, as well as the concert on June 8 in Orlando, which marked the beginning of one of the most anticipated stages of her tour through America.

Live Nation confirms the postponement

The promoter communicated the news through social media, where they explained that the artist has been forced to postpone the shows for personal and family reasons.

In the message, the organization conveyed Rosalía's apologies to her fans and asked attendees to keep their tickets while new dates are worked out for the affected concerts.

"Rosalía regrets disappointing her fans, but circumstances have left her no other choice," the promoter stated in their announcement.

Concern among her followers

The cancellation occurred unexpectedly and just a few hours after the singer shared images of her ballet rehearsals on social media and sent a message of enthusiasm to her American fans with a "Miami, I'm back."

For the moment, neither the artist nor her team have offered details about the nature of the family emergency that has led to the suspension of the concerts.

The lack of information has generated concern among fans, who have flooded social media with messages of support and wishes for a speedy recovery for the singer and her loved ones.

The American tour, pending rescheduling

The postponement forces a modification of the initial schedule for the LUX tour in America, where Rosalía has performances planned for the coming months in various countries and territories, including Puerto Rico and several cities in the United States.

Although the organization has assured that new dates will be announced soon, it has not yet been specified when the suspended concerts can be held.

The current world tour had already suffered a setback during its European leg. In one of her concerts in Milan, the artist had to temporarily interrupt the performance due to health problems that prevented her from continuing the show normally.
