The executive president of WOW Concept, Dimas Gimeno, will assume the presidency of the independent jury in the third edition of the "Enjoy Aena Awards", the international travel retail awards promoted by the airport operator to distinguish excellence, innovation, and customer experience of brands, operators, and airports.
The evaluation committee will be made up of nine specialists from fields related to commerce, tourism, mobility, gastronomy, and communication.
Along with Gimeno, executives such as Miguel Ángel Suárez Cabrera (Binter), Lucía Angulo (McCann España), Beatriz Navarro (Renault and AMKT), Javier Vello Cuadrado (EY Studio), Juan Manuel Guimeráns (Spain Film Commission), Carolina Seabra, Estanislao de Mata Pérez (former vice president of Sixt), Joxe Mari Aizega (Basque Culinary Center), and Marta Ariño (Grupo Zinet Media Global) will participate.
In this call, the awards are structured into 11 categories aimed at restaurant operators, shops, car rental companies, and advertising, in addition to a recognition for the best travel influencer and three awards for airports in the Aena network, whose selection will include the direct participation of passengers themselves.
The period for submitting candidacies will remain open until July 20 through the official website of the event, while the awards ceremony will take place on October 27 at the Teatro Real in Madrid.
