Juanma Moreno has achieved 41.5% of the votes in the 2026 Andalusian elections, a result that allows him to continue at the head of the Junta de Andalucía, but which places him in the middle of the ranking of regional leaders of the Partido Popular.
The Andalusian president is clearly behind Alfonso Rueda in Galicia (47.4%) and Isabel Díaz Ayuso in the Community of Madrid (47.3%), the two best recent results for the PP in regional elections.
Four PP presidents exceed 43%
In addition to Rueda and Ayuso, the Riojan Gonzalo Capellán (45.4%), María Guardiola in Extremadura (43.2%), and Fernando López Miras in Murcia (43%) also obtained percentages higher than Moreno's.
With his 41.5%, Moreno is in sixth position among the eleven popular regional presidents analyzed.
Andalusia remains a key bastion of the PP
Although the percentage is lower than that of other territorial leaders, Andalusia continues to be one of the main strongholds of the Partido Popular due to its demographic and political weight.
The autonomous community is the most populous in Spain and has 109 seats, so Moreno's result has strategic relevance for Alberto Núñez Feijóo's national leadership.
