The pro-Russian authorities of Crimea have reported the death of two people and four injured due to Ukrainian attacks recorded on the night of Thursday in the district of Simferopol, where one of the injured is a minor.

"The enemy has attacked Crimea again. Unfortunately, two people died in an attack in the district of Simferopol. Three more were injured, including a child. Another person was injured in the district of Sakski," said the governor of Crimea, Sergei Aksionov, a pro-Russian politician who has held the position since the Russian annexation of the peninsula in 2014.

In his message, the leader expressed his support to the relatives of the deceased victims and to the injured. "I share your pain and offer my condolences to the families and friends of the victims. I wish a speedy recovery to the injured. The authorities will provide them with the necessary assistance," he added.
