The airline Emirates has announced the suspension of all flights with origin or destination in Dubai due to restrictions in the region's airspace.
According to the information disseminated on social media and gathered by several accounts specialized in aviation, the company has decided to temporarily halt all its operations as a precautionary measure.
The suspension primarily affects Dubai International Airport (DXB), one of the world's largest air hubs.
The suspension will be in effect at least until the end of the day
According to the first details published, the flight disruption will remain until 23:59 (United Arab Emirates time) on March 7, 2026.
The measure responds to restrictions in the airspace in different points of the region, in a context of growing tension in the Middle East.
For the moment, the airline has not confirmed when operations will be fully normalized.
Dubai is one of the largest air centers in the world
The international airport of Dubai is one of the main global connection hubs, with millions of passengers each year and flights connecting Europe, Asia, Africa, and Oceania.
A general suspension of operations at this airport can cause significant disruptions in international air traffic.
