The president of the Junta de Andalucía and leader of the PP-A, Juanma Moreno, has claimed this Sunday to Pedro Sánchez's Executive that, "as soon as possible," it should offer the "truth" about the Adamuz (Córdoba) railway accident, of which this past Saturday, April 18, three months have passed and in which 46 people died. Likewise, he has asked that it "begin to assume responsibilities" that, in his opinion, correspond directly to the central Government.

Moreno has made reference to this train accident during his speech at the closing event of the Intermunicipal that the Andalusian PP has held this Sunday in Córdoba, and at which the national president of the PP, Alberto Núñez Feijóo, has also spoken.

Also attending the meeting, among other 'popular' leaders, were the Deputy Secretary of Autonomous, Local Coordination and Electoral Analysis of the PP, Elías Bendodo; the president of the Spanish Federation of Municipalities and Provinces (FEMP) and mayor of Jerez de la Frontera (Cádiz), María José García-Pelayo, and the president of the Andalusian Federation of Municipalities and Provinces (FAMP) and mayor of Córdoba, José María Bellido, who spoke just before Moreno.

The Andalusian president has lamented that "it seems" that the Government "has forgotten about Adamuz", and has reproached the absence of "a minimally convincing explanation" about "the worst high-speed rail accident" that occurred in Spain.

Moreno has underlined that the Executive has not "assumed any type of political responsibility" for this accident, describing as "chilling" the "lack of self-criticism and self-demand" that, according to him, the Government shows.

On this line, he has urged the central Executive, "with all the serenity in the world" and echoing "the words of the victims," to "as soon as possible, let us know the truth, the whole truth, and for them to start assuming responsibilities, which are theirs to bear," concluded the Andalusian president.
