Starting at 4:00 PM, the Senate resumes its activity with the control session of the Government. Among other issues, opposition senators are asking the Government about the reduction of VAT on hairdressing, barber, and beauty services; about the obligation to have the V16 beacon; or about the regularization of migrants.

Next, two urgent interpellations will be debated. The first, from the PP, to the Minister of the Presidency, Justice and Relations with the Courts, Félix Bolaños, so that he explains "how his actions as minister can be compatible with a democratic State of Law". The second, from UPN, to the Minister of the Interior, Fernando Grande-Marlaska, on the Government's proposals so that facts of humiliation to victims of terrorism such as the acts that occurred during the Korrika 2026 popular race are not repeated".

Lastly, this Tuesday, the Plenary will address three motions:

  • On urgent actions on infrastructure in Andalusia (PP)
  • On measures to compensate for the consequences of the current fuel price crisis in the Canary Islands (Agrupación Socialista Gomera)
  • On actions taken to guarantee the effective protection of basic services for consumers by the Ministry of Social Rights, Consumer Affairs and the 2030 Agenda (PP)
