The Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food has made a new disbursement of 223,388,567 euros this Tuesday in extraordinary aid directed at 12,025 holders of agricultural holdings in Andalusia and Extremadura affected by the storm train registered between January and February.
With this second payment, the global amount transferred by the Government through this line of support already amounts to 1,304 million euros, distributed among 110,074 farmers and ranchers.
These exceptional aids include individual amounts for beneficiaries ranging between 5,000 and 25,000 euros.
With this new transfer, the Executive continues with the implementation of the measures included in Royal Decree-Law 5/2026 to deal with this adverse meteorological episode, support the agricultural sector and promote the recovery of damaged holdings.
The farmers and ranchers who are now receiving economic support were included in the second list of potential beneficiaries published on April 30, which included a total of 27,462 holders.
Of this group, the 12,025 finally beneficiaries have completed the express acceptance of the aid and the signing of the responsible declaration of damages, which were evaluated ex officio, within the established deadline.
Profile of the beneficiaries
This second list mainly includes farmers and ranchers who did not receive aid from the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) in 2025, but who are registered in the regional registers of agricultural holdings or in the General Register of Livestock Holdings.
Likewise, those who applied for compensatory aid for young farmers in Andalusia and Extremadura during the 2025 campaign are included.
Finally, the Ministry has announced that a third list of potential beneficiaries of these aids will be published shortly.
