The Nestlé plant in Girona has delivered more than 1,500 coffee capsules and 3 coffee machines to the Red Cross, with the aim of supplying the entity's vehicle used to respond to emergency situations such as fires, floods, or major accidents, as both parties communicated this Tuesday in a joint statement.

In coordination with Civil Protection, this vehicle provides uninterrupted service 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, supporting the different intervention teams, including the Generalitat Firefighters, Mossos d'Esquadra, Rural Agents, and local police, during emergency episodes in which "it is essential to guarantee food and hydration for those affected and intervention teams."

The director of the Nestlé production center in Girona, Arnau Pi, has emphasized that in these contexts "every resource counts," and that with this donation the company aims to offer concrete solutions that facilitate the work of intervention teams and contribute to improving care for those affected.
