The Councilor for Culture, Human Resources and Local Police of Siero, Aurora Cienfuegos, announced this Monday a new edition of Los Tardeos del Paraguas, which will take place from July 7 to 10 in the Plaza del Paraguas in Pola de Siero. Each day will include a concert at 8:00 PM with free admission for the public.
The program will open on Tuesday the 7th with a Spanish pop music performance by the group Música en el Sofá. On Wednesday the 8th, the proposal will focus on tango with Loca Bohemia, while on Thursday the 9th it will be the turn of the Grupo de Acordeones de Siero, which will share the stage with students from the council's Music School. The cycle will conclude on Friday the 10th with the Banda de Música de Siero (ASAM) and the concert titled "Trunk of musical memories for a summer afternoon".
Cienfuegos emphasized that the purpose of this proposal is "to continue bringing life to the Plaza del Paraguas and to take advantage of such an emblematic space in Pola de Siero to offer live music during summer afternoons".
Likewise, she stressed that a "varied" program has been designed, with options for different types of audiences and including styles ranging "from pop and tango to accordion and band music".
