The general secretary of UPA Córdoba, Francisco Moreno, has shown this Friday his support for the new delegates of Agriculture, Fishing, Water and Rural Development, and Sustainability and Environment, Raquel López and Daniel García-Ibarrola, respectively. At the same time, he has conveyed his confidence that "there will continue to be a fluid, loyal, and constructive dialogue, as already happened with their predecessors" in the past legislature.

Moreno has pointed out in a note that the purpose is "to work, day by day, in the defense of family agriculture and livestock and traditional olive groves, the majority model of our province".

For this reason, the agrarian organization conveys "the welcome to two new delegates", with whom they aspire to "work hand in hand to face the important challenges of the present and future that the agrarian sector of our province has, among them the CAP, the ruinous prices at origin of our productions, profitability, generational change, equality of rural women, fire prevention, and life in our rural environment".

The UPA leader has emphasized that both delegations, in coordination with the agrarian organizations, carry out "an important job in the socioeconomic development of our province". Therefore, he has reiterated that he trusts "in the good work of the two delegates and their teams, and in that institutional loyalty they will continue to find us, with a hand extended, to defend the interests of small and medium farmers and ranchers".
