The Minister of Education and Vocational Training of the Generalitat, Esther Niubó, has indicated that the proposal that the Department will present this Thursday afternoon to the unions at the sectoral table will be the "definitive" one and that it will include more resources in classrooms and in the remuneration area, with the aim of bringing on board the trade union organizations that did not sign the agreement reached in March with CC.OO. Educació and UGT.
Niubó explained this on Thursday in the Commission of Education and Vocational Training of the Parliament, after the unions Ustec·Stes, Aspepc·Sps and CGT Ensenyament demanded a concrete proposal in writing on Wednesday regarding the resources allocated to inclusive education, in addition to continuing to advance in the improvement of salary conditions.
This Thursday, starting at 3:00 p.m., a new session of the sectoral table (the seventh already) has been called to continue deepening the negotiation of labor improvements, on a day also marked by a territorial educational strike in Maresme, Vallès Occidental and Vallès Oriental (Barcelona), within the third consecutive week of mobilizations.
