The president of CaixaBank, Tomás Muniesa, and the general director of Funcas, Carlos Ocaña, have signed the continuation of the cooperation agreement on financial education, as the entity communicated this Thursday.
This collaboration is integrated into the 'Funcas Program to Stimulate Financial Education', which "contributes to achieving the objectives of the National Financial Education Plan".
The program involves all entities associated with CECA and is aimed at supporting initiatives that contribute to raising the level and quality of financial knowledge of the Spanish population.
Muniesa has underlined that financial culture is "essential to achieve financial inclusion" and for citizens to be able to make the best possible financial decisions.
For his part, Ocaña has highlighted that "financial education is key to improving the economic autonomy of citizens in an increasingly complex environment".
