The PSOE once again positioned itself as the second political force in Andalusia after the regional elections, although it worsened its result compared to the previous legislature. The candidacy headed by María Jesús Montero obtained 28 seats in the Andalusian Parliament, two fewer than those achieved by the party in 2022.
The socialists maintained representation in the eight Andalusian provinces, although without managing to close the gap with the Popular Party, which once again clearly prevailed in the community as a whole. The PSOE retained broad territorial implantation, with its best result in Seville and Jaén, although the final distribution again left the party far from competing for the regional victory.
The provincial distribution for the PSOE was three deputies for Almería, three for Cádiz, three for Córdoba, three for Granada, three for Huelva, four for Jaén, four for Málaga, and five for Seville.
