Cathay Pacific has announced a significant expansion of its operations in Spain, by launching a daily and direct connection between Madrid and Hong Kong starting next October 25.
With the addition of three new weekly frequencies, the airline reinforces the Spanish capital as one of its main gateways to the Asian market, in a year that celebrates the tenth anniversary of its operations in the country and the 80th anniversary of the creation of the Cathay Group worldwide.
The new flights will operate on Mondays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, and will be added to the departures already scheduled for Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays.
This connection continues to be the only direct and non-stop service between Madrid and Hong Kong, which allows for shorter travel times for both leisure travelers and corporate clients wishing to access the Asia-Pacific region through Hong Kong International Airport.
The daily operations will be carried out by state-of-the-art Airbus A350-900 aircraft, configured in three differentiated classes: business, premium, and economy.
The cabins of Cathay Pacific's fleet assigned to this route feature the latest in-flight entertainment systems, Wi-Fi connectivity, and a carefully selected gastronomic offering for passengers.
